Alison was a
bit nervous beforehand, hoping the day was going to turn out ok – she didn’t
need to worry, put a good smattering of ladies (and a few gents) together with some gin and she had nothing to
worry about !
Of course,
it’s all down to the preparation and planning and the gin team had it down to a
(G&) T. It wouldn’t have happened
without Alison’s idea and her merry (hic!) band of assistants namely Linda, Liz
& Pam to get this show on the road.
The ladies,
as usual, gave their full support to the day, whether it be infusing gins, donating
tombola prizes, providing garnishes, using their creative skills for signs,
table decorations and tombola basket covers, harassing sponsors for donations
and of course, consuming a fair few G&T’s.
It was a
hugely successful day raising over £1500 for club funds. Don’t know how we’re
going to top this one !
