ISLAND MIXED GREENSOMES

Members from all sections were represented on Friday evening when we played the Island Mixed Greensomes (revamped Mr & Mrs).  We were delighted especially to see Ben Anderson and Mikey Lumby represent the youngsters we hope to see for many years to come on the Island. Everyone enjoyed the evening although it was disappointing not to see a few more joining in the fun. Maybe next year!!  Ben has promised to bring his pals next time. He really had a ball and played so well. The winners were Liz and David Angus with a magnificent 64 although they had an unfair advantage having just returned from holiday in Portugal.  We know what to do next year if we want to win.  Liz and David also earned the prestigious trophies awarded to the best Mr & Mrs combination.  Close runners up were Mother & Son, Agnes and Stuart Manattini with 64.8 Well done everyone who helped maked this a most enjoyable evening.
