WINTER WALK 2014

It was time for the Ladies Winter Walk on Sunday. Eleven of us were brave enough to risk the weather and although our numbers have dwindled we still had a very enjoyable walk - we even managed to stay dry!!

We started off from the main Car Park in Dunkeld and walked through the town to the recently planted orchard and from there to the river bank. Its roughly three miles from there, passing Neil Gow's tree, to the A9 bridge  where we cut underneath and crossed to the other side of the Tay where we had a welcome chocolate break before the return trip.

We passed Hilton House and the Cathedral and it was time to get back in the car for a stop at Bankfoot Visitors' Centre and a well earned lunch.
