Winter Walk

A little taster of the the proposed Winter Walk to Loch Ordie on March 3rd.   The Winter Walk this year (weather permitting) will take place on Sunday March 3rd to Loch Ordie. We will be walking from Dowally up to and round the Loch, 7 miles all in. Moira and I tried it on Saturday on a beautiful day. At the top it was still under snow in some parts so it took us around 3.5 hours. Since this is slightly longer than usual we thought we should take a picnic with us to have before we start back down the hill. Then we can stop for coffee at the Bankfoot Visitor Centre on the way home. We will meet at Dowally at 10 am. There is parking on the old road. Don't turn off at the sign for Dowally but keep on until the 2nd sign for the Craft Centre past Dowally. Hope to see you all then.
